occur at the end of the shoulder and below the neck |

trauma

B. Shoulder Sprain

1. Pain during arm movement

C. Shoulder Dislocation – never attempt
to reduce a dislocation

1. Pop and/or tearing sensation
2. Deformity
3. Loss of function
4. Pain with any kind of movement |
D. Impingement

1. Diffuse pain around the end of the shoulder
2. Inability to lift the shoulder over the head
3. Tightness and pain within the shoulder joint
4. Popping and/or clicking sound with movement |
E. Bursitis

1. Pain with motion, particularly with moving the shoulder
forward or to the outside
2. Point tenderness within the shoulder joint |
F. Frozen Shoulder
|

1. Pain in all movements of the shoulder
2. Restriction of movements |
G. Tendinitis
|
|
1. Gradual pain that increases with activity
2. Weakness
3. Possible popping and/or clicking sound
4. Decrease in functional ability |
